摘要
Relatively rare ii-methyl sterols were isolated from Haliclona cinerea (two samples) and Haliclona flavescens. Thirteen sterols were identified for the first time in sponges, five of these for the first time in marine organisms and two (Ib and 2h) for the first time in nature. The possible position of these compounds in food webs is discussed. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Inc.
