摘要
The radiologic manifestations of aspiration pneumonia are protean and have been well-described. FDG PET has been used successfully in the evaluation of cancer. However, FDG is not a tumor-specific radiotracer. The authors present a case of aspiration pneumonia that demonstrated extensive and diffusely increased FDG uptake in bilateral posterior basal lungs on PET imaging.
