The use of impaction grafting in revision total knee arthroplasty

Impaction grafting has been used successfully in revision total knee arthroplasty. Histology and preliminary clinical results show that this technique may be useful in situations in which bone toss is extensive. in contrast to bulk allografts, morcellized graft remodels and incorporates with the host. The preliminary results and technique are reviewed briefly.
