摘要
The preparation of multiporous materials, which have porosity ranging from nano to micro range, was discussed by using sublimation of the preparation solvent technique. The sublimation of solvent has been obtained with syndiotactic polystyrene (sPS)/naphthalene systems, as naphthalene is a sublimable solvent that is solid at room temperature. The fibrillar morphology used in the sPS/solvent intercalates, can be obtained through the formation of a themoreversible gel. The number and the thermodynamic stoichiometry of the complex were determined by mapping out the temperature and concentration phase diagram coupled with a Tamman's type diagram. The use of Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy can also led to the sPS conformation. The technique offers an alternate for the making of filter membranes possessing properties of capturing pollutants from water wastes.
