摘要
A new concept for a transparent electrochemical capacitor was demonstrated. It includes two MnO2 electrodes separated with a gel electrolyte, making the whole device less than I mm thick and transparent. Preliminary electrochemical experiments revealed a capacitance of 2 mF cm(-2) over more than 200 cycles. The device exhibited only a small absorbance change during repeated cycling.
