Label erasing technique employing Lyot-Sagnac filter

摘要
A novel label erasing technique employing a Lyot-Sagnac filter with a flat top and a sharp notch is proposed and experimentally demonstrated in all-optical label swapping system. It is shown that the performance of this eraser is superior to the traditional fibre loop mirror eraser.
