A knowledge discovery approach to diagnosing myocardial perfusion

摘要
The large volumes of diagnostic data produced by the medical diagnostic machines are difficult to handle and analyze. High capacity storage devices and competent tools are needed for complete analysis. Data mining and knowledge discovery systems are programmed to automate the use of these data. A six step knowledge discovery process is applied to the Bull's eye single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) database. Clinical diagnostic images maps were resolved, leading to the segregation of the patients with artery disease with the normal ones.
