摘要：

Enmity commonly exists between librarians and teaching faculty, and it creates divisiveness within librarianship, between those librarians whose work is most closely linked to the traditional humanistic disciplines and those who are managers or focused on other aspects of librarianship. The divisiveness needs to end.
