Search for the neutrino magnetic moment in the nonequilibrium reactor-antineutrino energy spectrum

摘要
We study the time evolution of a typical reactor-antineutrino energy spectrum during the reactor operating period and the decay of the residual-antineutrino spectrum after the reactor is stopped. We find that relevant variations in the spectra of soft recoil electrons produced via weak and magnetic <(nu)over bar>(e)e scattering can play a significant role in current and planned searches for the neutrino magnetic moment at reactors.
