摘要
Signal-to-noise ratio is an essential characteristic of a nanoparticle as a signal-processing device. In this paper we evaluate experimentally, at room temperature, the relevant magnetic parameters of manganese ferrite nanoparticles in a colloidal suspension by combined means of AC complex susceptibility measurements, profile fitting and polarised magnetic field measurements. Using the obtained values we estimate the SNR for the manganese ferrite nanoparticles. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
