Crystal structure of a new series of 1212 type cuprate RuSr(2)LnCu(2)O(z)

摘要
A new series of cuprates RuSr(2)LnCu(2)O(z) has been prepared by solid state reaction. The compound RuSr2GdCu2Oz has a tetragonal symmetry with lattice parameters: a = 3.841, c = 11.570 Angstrom. X-ray Powder Rietveld analysis indicates that RuSr(2)LnCu(2)O(z) has a space group of P4/mmm and the structure of Ru-1212 contains double CuO5 pyramids connected by a perovskite SrRuO3 layer through the apical oxygen atom.
