摘要
Good bone health is important at any age and is the key to prevention of osteoporosis. The athletic woman generally has increased bone mass because of her activity. Conditions such as disordered eating or amenorrhea, which are more prevalent in female athletes, can lead to decreased bone mass and an increased risk for fracture, however Although prevention is the best choice, a variety of options now exist for both diagnosis and treatment of low bone mass.
