摘要
In a new divertor simulator, a very cold recombining plasma is produced after transverse electric extraction from a dense magnetized plasma column. The plasma is characterized using probes, spectroscopic measurements, and ultra-fast imaging of spontaneous emission. This new technique is shown to be very useful for the investigation of the recombination processes. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
