摘要
The paper surveys applications of optimal control techniques to the design of active suspensions, starting from simple quarter-car, 1D models, which are followed by their half-car, 2D, and full-car, 3D, counterparts. While the main emphasis is on Linear-Quadratic (LQ) optimal control and active suspensions, the paper also addresses a number of related subjects including semi-active suspensions; robust, adaptive and nonlinear control aspects and some of the important practical considerations.
