Microwave-assisted synthesis of Zn-Al-layered double hydroxide-sodium dodecyl sulfate nanocomposite

摘要
Zn-Al-sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) nanocomposite could be synthesized faster by microwave-assisted compared to the conventional method. A well-crystallized nanocomposite can be obtained by using 0.2M SDS and aged for 1 or 2 h in the presence of microwave irradiation, compared to about 3 days for the conventional method. However, a good crystallinity of Zn-Al-SDS nanocomposite can also be obtained by using lower concentration of SDS but lower aging time.
