Preparation and spectroscopic studies of some esters of N, N-dibenzyl-, N-methyl, N-benzyl-, and N, N-dimethylamidophosphorylhalidic acid esters. The effect of halids and amine derivatives on the P-N and P=O bonds

The preparation of the compounds: (C6H5CH2)NP(O)Cl-2, (CH3)(C6H5CH2)NP(O)Cl-2, (C6H5CH2)(2)NP(O)(Cl)OC6H4CH3, (CH3)(C6H5CH2)NP(O)(Cl)OC6H4CH3, (C6H5CH2)(2) NP(O)(F)OC6H4CH3, (CH3)(C6H5CH2)NP(O)(F)OC6H4CH3 and (CH3)(2)NP(O)(F) OC6H4NO2 is described and they are characterized by H-1-, C-13-, P-31-, F-19-NMR and IR-spectroscopy. According to their spectroscopic data the properties of the P-N and P=O bonds are strongly dependent on the substituents. Long-range couplings ((7J)pH) of some compounds have been measured. The H-1-NMR spectra of the molecules were measured at different temperatures in order to study the rotation of P-N bond.
