摘要：

(Figure Presented) Non-nucleosidic chromophores in the stem of a molecular beacon inhibit excimer fluorescence through the formation of a donor-acceptor complex (see picture). The excellent reduction of the background fluorescence allows the detection of DNA and RNA targets in the presence of a significant excess of the probe. © 2010 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH &. Co. KGaA.
