摘要
Based upon Monte-Carlo simulations, analytic theory, and experiment a hopping concept for charge injection into random organic a-functional dielectrics is been developed and tested. The treatment is flexible enough to include interfacial properties and to incorporate space charge limited current flow. A hopping concept has also been employed to analyse experimental data on the hole mobility in conjugated polymers. The time response of LEDs, though more complicated, can be rationalized in terms of self-consistent analytic theory. It has been applied to tunneling controlled time dependent electroluminescence in a bilayer LED.
