On the oscillating power sequence of a fuzzy matrix

摘要
The properties of an oscillating power sequence of an n x n fuzzy matrix have been studied. The necessary and sufficient conditions have been established for a power sequence to be oscillatory. Furthermore, the oscillation index was detailed to some degree; especially for some typical Boolean matrices. It is also shown that the period index set of the power sequences of fuzzy matrices of order n is not bounded from above by a power of n for all integers n. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
