摘要
This article reports on the prevalence of interdisciplinary collaborative relationships at 226 accredited graduate and undergraduate social work programs that responded to a questionnaire. The authors compare percentages of collaborating programs among types of social work institutions and among collaboration areas (viz. research, education, and service provision). They show factors that increase the likelihood of collaboration and explore collaboration with other disciplines, particularly family medicine. The authors conclude by discussing the benefits and implications of interdisciplinary collaboration for the social work profession.
