摘要
The incidence of hip fractures, particularly among the elderly, is on the rise. Prevention is, of course, the best treatment. If a fracture does occur, however, appropriate treatment and rehabilitation are key to getting patients back on their feet. Drs Ethans and MacKnight stress a team approach to reduce postoperative morbidity, speed recovery, and restore elderly patients to independence and full function as quickly as possible.
