New procedure towards size-homogeneous and well-dispersed nickel oxide nanoparticles of 30 nm

摘要
The synthesis of size-homogeneous and well-dispersed NiO nanoparticles of about 30 nm has been achieved. In this method, the reaction temperature is 673 K. The mixture of nickel acetate and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) is used as precursor. The particles are characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The NiO nanoparticles are composed of smaller nanoparticles.
