摘要
The development sensor arrays based on conducting polymer materials deposited onto different substrates is presented. Conducting polymer based on three different substrates: gold on silicon, gold on polyester and screen printed carbon on polyvinylchloride were fabricated and tested with nine different vapours. In comparison with the expensive gold based sensors, low-cost screen printed carbon conducting polymer sensors showed slightly lower sensitivity with acceptable reproducibility. Six sensors showing best performance were chosen to produce sensor array to differentiate organic vapours from common solvents. With the aid of chemometric methods, discrimination of nine different vapours can be achieved with the sensing arrays.
