摘要：

The primary track and internal opening in relation to the sphincter may be demonstrated both on endosonography and MR imaging. Secondary tracks and abscess collections also may be imaged. MR imaging is superior to endosonography for more complex fistula with tracks outside the sphincter, and for demonstrating the relationship of sepsis to the levator ani. Imaging has a definite role in the management of anal sepsis that is currently underutilized. MR imaging is indicated in all patients with recurrent fistula.
