摘要
The effect of surface treatments on hydrogen storage of carbon nanotubes (CNT) is discussed. The surface characteristics of CNT determine the interaction with hydrogen. Effective surface treatments on CNT to gain surface activity is a significant step. Nitric acid and alkali (NaOH) solution are used to carry this point. These treatments increase surface area and surface activity, and the performance of hydrogen storage is enhanced.
