The application of molecules to conduct an addition and substraction process using different chemicals as the input bits and two fluorescence colors as the output bits is discussed. The phenomenon is observable at the level of single molecules. It is observed that the molecules when exposed to ultraviolet light produces fluorescence output patterns that are seen in the form of blue and green channels. It is stated that such developments can create new opportunities for future smaller-scale computation.
