摘要
Liquid phase sintering of LixNi1-xO solid solutions with x=0.30 and 0.44, obtained by the reaction of a nickel and lithium carbonate powder mixture, was evaluated by means of the shrinkage of the specimens. Only when part of the LixNi1-xO crystalline structure was present as the hexagonal phase, the presence of a reactive liquid phase of undecomposed lithium carbonate promoted the sintering process.
