摘要
Questionable language is often used in case histories, the professional accounts of illness and care constructed by students and practitioners of medicine every day in teaching hospitals. Because case histories shape as well as reflect the thinking, speech, and actions of trainees and their teachers, their reform is central to the improvement of medical education, patient care, and clinical research.
