摘要
Patients with previous gastric surgery for benign conditions are known to be at increased risk for the development of gastric cancer. Whereas gastric cancers occurring at sites other than the anastomosis after gastrojejunostomy without gastrectomy have been reported, cancer at the anastomosis has been rarely described. We report an unusual case of gastric cancer occurring at the anastomosis after gastrojejunostomy without gastrectomy. This case illustrates the need for caution in evaluating the stomach following previous surgical procedures for benign disease, especially at the anastomosis. It is worth noting that gastric cancer after gastrojejunostomy without gastrectomy can involve the anastomosis itself.
