摘要
A zeolite which expanded under external hydrostatic pressure and could retain its expanded volume after release of the pressure was presented. The retention of additional water molecules was attributed to the adjustments in the tetrahedra framework, which resulted from changes in the oxygen bond angle between tetrahedra. Zeolites exhibited marked resistance to change with temperature variation or after chemical changes within the pores.
