摘要
Electron-ion coincidence spectroscopy of energy-analyzed electrons and charge-separated ions is used to investigate complex decay processes of atoms after inner-shell photoionization with monochromatized synchrotron radiation. Improvements in the experimental technique allow a complete electron spectrum resolved into the different contributions of the final ion-charge states to be measured. This method of final ion-charge resolving electron spectroscopy is demonstrated by the example of xenon for different photoionization processes in the region of the 4d-->epsilon f resonance.
