摘要
The oxidant H2O2 is generated in situ in this clean, one-step conversion of propylene into propylene oxide. Contrary to expectations, the catalyst - palladium on titanium silicalite - does not require methanol for activity, and solvent-based side reactions are avoided by conducting the reaction in CO2.
