摘要：

This review emphasises cadmium toxicity on plants with regards to ecological, physiological and biochemical aspects. Cadmium toxicity in plants and problems concerning tolerance and ecological performance are discussed briefly. Efforts have been made to compare the relative sensitivity of various plant groups including micro-and macro-flora. This review may help in interdisciplinary studies to assess the ecological significance of metal stress. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
