Fullerenes as a co-catalyst for high pressure - high temperature synthesis of diamonds

摘要
The paper reports on the effect of a fullerene co-catalyst on high pressure - high temperature (HPHT) synthesis of diamond from graphite. It is shown that the co-catalyst increases the diamond yield by a factor of 1.30-1.45 at relatively low pressure (4.5 GPa) and temperature (about 1200 degreesC). (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V.
