摘要
The authors present experimental results of using the all-optical gain-clamped EDFA for protecting surviving channels in a wavelength-division-multiplexed network in which many EDFAs are used in cascade. In particular, the effects of relaxation oscillations from the gain-clamped EDFAS on transmission performances of surviving channels are discussed.
