摘要:
Industrial plants require electric motors for safe and efficient operation. Motor current signature analysis (MCSA) using a computer-based motor monitor can support computer-based maintenance functions. Motor monitoring information provide tools for diagnosing of faults in motor devices. Detecting incipient failure is possible using motor protective relaying which is a set of techniques for diagnosing motor problems and applying corrective measures. Recent developments on motor monitoring include sensorless torque measurement, direct detection of turn-to-turn short circuits, detection of cracked or broken rotor bars and detection of bearing deterioration.
