摘要：

In this work we present an instrument to identify the behaviour of the NiCd and NiMH batteries from the measured values of voltage and temperature during the charge and discharge phases. The instrument represents a useful tool for controlling the battery charge phase through methods based on the increase of the voltage or of the derivative of the temperature with respect to the time, avoiding the damages due to the overcharge. It can be used also to validate new algorithms detecting the end of the charge.
