Electrochemical deposition of composite films composed of polyaniline and chitosan for biosensor applications

摘要
An electrochemical deposition was employed for preparing chitosan (CS)/polyaniline (PAn) composite films, in which glucose oxidase (GOD) was immobilized for the application to glucose biosensors. IR spectrum, scanning electron microscopy, and electrochemistry of the films showed that CS and PAn are deposited on the electrode surface. Chronoamperometric measurements demonstrated that PAn/CS-based enzyme electrode exhibited a higher response current to glucose than the PAn-free CS/GOD electrodes did. The linear response range and the lower detection limit of the sensor are acceptable. The present method will be convenient and efficient in mass production of enzyme biosensors.
