摘要
The introduction of rhenium in Ti-Hf-Ni ribbons reduces the transition temperatures. It does not separate the austenite→R phase and R phase→martensite transitions. However, it leads to a good surface quality for a small content of Re. As far as Ti32Hf18Ni50 and Ti32Hf18Ni49.8Re0.2 ribbons are concerned, the structural state in as-quenched conditions is a mixture of amorphous phase, spherical crystalline grains which are austenitic at ambient temperature, and large crystalline grains without a specific morphology.
