In this article, a novel robust decentralized coordination dispatch approach is presented, which can efficiently coordinate the transmission network and connected active distribution networks (ADN). The concept of allowable power exchange interval is introduced in the coordination of the integrated networks so that the transmission network can receive reserve capacity support from connected ADNs, which further exploits the flexibility in ADNs. Meanwhile, the risk of accommodating wind power has also been considered in the optimization to make a tradeoff between the operational risk and operational costs and a tradeoff between the transmission network and ADNs. Besides, the alternating direction method of multipliers is adopted to decompose the proposed centralized robust coordination dispatch model for the integrated transmission network and ADNs into several dispatch submodels. To efficiently release the computational burden, a new efficient algorithm is also developed to transform the resulting nonconvex submodels into convex linear optimization subproblems that can be optimized effectively and globally with off-the-shelf solvers. The effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed robust decentralized coordination dispatch approach was validated using two test systems.
