摘要：

ISAAC is an Infrared Imager and Array Camera operating from 0.9 to 5 mu m. This paper illustrates some preliminary scientific results (in spectroscopy) which have been obtained during its first year of science operations. In Low Resolution Spectroscopy, we present results obtained on one Centaur, on TMR1-C, and the detection of a methane brown dwarf. In Medium Resolution Spectroscopy, we present results obtained on kinematics studies in the central kpc of AGNs, and of emission line detections of distant galaxies at various redshift, from 0.6 to 3.
