In this article, a component of the Racial-Cultural Counseling Competence model, introduced by R. T. Carter (1995), is described, The Racial-Cultural Counseling Laboratory course is presented to provide readers with an understanding of a cognitive, behavioral, and affective integrative approach to racial-cultural competence training.
