摘要
The influence of Zn substitution in the magnetic properties of a nanoscale system Ni1-xZnxFe2O4 (where x = 0.0, 0.25, 0.50 and 0.75) was studied. The ferrites were synthesized by the coprecipitation technique. Transmission electron microscopy revealed a particle size around 4-15 nm, increasing with Zn content. FC/ZFC curves showed a typical superparamagnetic behavior in all samples. It was found that Zn substitution affects both the blocking temperature and the magnetization. The maximum magnetization at room temperature was 48 emu/g for the sample x = 0.50. (c) 2007 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
