Field induced decoupling of non-fermi liquids?

摘要
We have performed angular-dependent magnetotransport studies along the least conducting c direction on (TMTSF)(2)PF6 under 10 kbar pressure at temperatures down to 0.5 K. The set of studies involved rotations of a magnetic field in the be plane in the ''normal'' metallic state. We found the existence of two different regimes for the angular dependence of magnetoresistance at low and high fields, with the former corresponding to the classical limit and the latter showing power law dependence on the field perpendicular to the conducting planes. This suggests the existence of incoherent inter-layer hopping between non-Fermi liquids once the critical field is exceeded.
