Investigation of Mn-ferrite films produced by pulsed laser deposition

摘要
Polycrystalline films of manganese ferrites have been produced by pulsed-laser deposition from a MnFe2O4 target onto glass substrates at temperatures of 200-550degreesC. SEM and energy dispersive X-ray analysis indicate that the films maintain stoichiometry. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the average grain size of the films decreases appreciably with decreasing substrate temperature. Mossbauer spectroscopy studies at 25 K are used to investigate hyperfine interaction and magnetic structure of the films. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
