Micropore size distributions of activated carbons

摘要
The four methods used to determine the micropore size distributions (MPSD) of different types of activated carbons are discussed. These methods include: the MP method; the TVFM method; the Horvath-Kawazoe (HK) method; and simulation methods based on statistical mechanics. It is found that the average microscopic size does not depend on the type of model used. It implies that the pore distribution of activated carbon exhibits some kind of universality.
