摘要
Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) is considered a major advance in the treatment of patients with heart failure. The presence of left ventricular (LV) dyssynthrony seems mandatory for a positive response to CRT. Currently, only patients with wide QRS complexes are considered for CRT, although patients with narrow QRS complexes may also have IV dyssynchrony. In the present study, the. incidence of LV dyssynchrony was prospectively evaluated in 64 patients with heart failure and narrow QRS complexes using tissue Doppler imaging.
