Resolved isotopic energy shift and hole burning in EuCl36H2O

摘要
The F-7(0) --> D-5(0) transition in EuCl(3)6H(2)O is exceedingly narrow similar to 0.5 GHz and exhibits partially resolved hyperfine splittings. Further, using EuCl(3)6H(2)O crystals with different Eu-151:Eu-153 isotope mixtures there is evidence of an isotope shift. Optical-RF double-resonance and burn-and-scan laser experiments employing the hole-burning behaviour of this transition support the analysis of the optical spectra. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
