Excited-state intramolecular proton transfer via a preexisting hydrogen bond in semirigid polyquinoline

摘要
The semirigid prototype polyquinoline (PQH) was synthesized with alternating building blocks, one of which has an intramolecular hydrogen bond. The excited-state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) of the polymer was examined. Results revealed that the PQH films experienced ESIPT and electronic arrangement in the shorter times of 8 and 20 ps, in both photoluminescence and electroluminescence measurements.
