摘要
Two different asphaltenes, separated from a crude oil and a deposit both from the same well, were solubilized in toluene and in tetrahydrofuran, at several contact times. The concentration of asphaltene was below 0.03% w/w, which was assumed to be the critical micelle concentration. Small-angle X-ray scattering measurements provided the structural parameters, which indicate that the shape, the particle size and the fractal dimension are determined by the duration of the contact time between asphaltenes and the solvent.
